Founded in 2015...
Founded in 2015,the IKD-SA (International Karate Daigaku South Africa) has it’s headquarters located in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
IKD-SA has been led from it’s founding by it’s founder, President and Chief Instructor, Denzil Govender Shihan – 7th Dan, and it’s first lady Wendy Govender Sensei – 3rd Dan

"My son joined AIKI-IKD-SA in July 2019 at the age of six—a shy young boy with much to prove. With the
guidance and encouragement of his Sensei, he was able to compete in his first tournament in October 2019.
When Covid-19 brought uncertainty and disruption, the resilience and dedication of both the students and
the Sensei were remarkable as training continued seamlessly via Zoom.
At 13 years old, my son will be attempting his Black Belt. We would like to place on record our deepest
